You pay at the for automatic pay stations with coins and bills in CHF, with bills in Euro (returned change in CHF), with credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express) or CASH. Credit cards: A pin code is required if you pay with a credit card, except for American Express.
Pre-Payment
The multiple day ticket is well suited for hotel guests and conference participants. The multiple day ticket is recommended for a stay of at least 1 day and up to 14 days. Benefits: Everything is paid in advance - you can enter and exit as many times as you want.
Permanent Parking
Two permanent parking options are available at the parking garage Casino-Palace at the Haldenstrasse 6 in Lucerne:
• Daytime parking: Monday to Wednesday, 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday and Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturday 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Permanent parking: Monday to Sunday, midnight to midnight. You will find more information under «Permanent Parking».
Security
42 surveillance cameras monitor the parking garage. The main stairwell as well as the elevator are enclosed in glass and therefore offer transparency and protection. Emergency phones connect you immediately to the surveillance center via direct lines. Swisscom Mobile customers have cell phone reception without limitations also on all basement levels.
Directions to the Old Town
Use public transportation to directly go to the Old Town or in the opposite direction to the Verkehrshaus (Museum of Transportation). The Nationalquai (national quayside) and the Seebadi (lido) are also close by. The location of the parking garage is specially suited for commuters who do not want to drive to the city center but still want to park within a short walking distance. You can reach the city center with its beautiful Old Town section by foot within 5 minutes.
Handicapped Parking
There are handicapped parking spaces near the passenger elevator on all three parking levels that are tailored to the needs of wheel-chair users.
Parking Spaces for Ladies
Ten parking spaces are specifically reserved for women on the first level, located next to the surveillance center.
