«European Standard Parking Award» for Kesselturm
The Kesselturm multi-storey car park received the 'European Standard Parking Award' in July 2010. Experts from the SwissParking association examined the multi-storey car park according to specifications of the European organisation of car park operators – and presented it with an award for the outstanding implementation of the constructional and safety technology measures:

- Well-illuminated and clearly arranged parking areas
- Helpful colour scheme to distinguish between the different storeys
- Reserved parking spaces for women
- Multi-storey car park monitored by 60 cameras, 24/7
- Sanitation facilities are only accessible with a parking ticket
- Regular patrols by specially trained staff
- Reception for mobile phones from the most prevalent suppliers on all floors

- Top-up card for cash-free parking
- Long-term parking ticket for hotel and congress guests (valid for between 1 and 14 days)
- Separate access for long-term parkers
The city centre and the motorway can be quickly reached
- 200 m from the motorway exit "Lucerne Centre" ("Luzern-Zentrum")
- 2 minutes to the pedestrian zone of the old town in Lucerne
